Wow amazing Photograph, did you ever know Sergeant Danny Corby?

I still live near RAF Coltishall, I'm right on the outskirts down Hautbois Road.

This is a spectacular photograph, The depth of tone really suits the mood.

Love this picture! Silhouettes are sexy. Was this a planned shot or did you get lucky and get it at just the right moment?

The other cool thing is that I viewed this picture right when I listening a to a song that matches well with it so the experience was enhanced. 8-)

I'm not so sure that the font style fits with this picture. It feels like it's trying to give it a classic art feel, but a more slick, sleek font might be better with this subject matter.

it was a mixture of planned and happy accident. I was thinking of reworking this acutally, loosing the text, i did that becuase i made some prints for the Station Commander, etc.
Im really glad you like it :)

I have no idea, it was one of those moment things where i was just shooting like crazy, this was a fluke shot, i was not even meant to get the control tower in, i was just panning and shooting. This turned out better than i thought.

*Nods* It was a good capture, even if a fluke. Can you snag your camera settings, or edited the original image?

*GRINS* IT WAS! *Says a small aman* GOOD. Then we can edit it someday. There is SO much one can do with a negative when converting into a digital image. You think your photo is hot now, just wait till ya see what you can do.

A very beautiful shot! I love the silhouettes against the sky - a very impressive sight. I don't say it often, but this probably would have been extremely cool to see in person. One of those once in a lifetime moments. The black frame works great with this and just allows the viewer to focus on the elements in the shot. Great work!! :-)

The good old Ministry of Defence, getting rid of things 5 years before the replacements are due to arrive. Never mind, just as long as we dont go to war...
