your series of aircraft shots are consistently good - you have an eye for composition with this subject, no question. too often a photographer would be tempted to try and photograph the entirety of the object, when simply portions of it lead to an understanding of the subject.

this shot, for example, only show the front of the fuselage (including the cockpit), most (but not all) of the propeller, the landing gear and you can tell that there are wings extending out of the frame. the added interest is in the contrasting polish insignia, which is an unexpected element when viewing the traditionally british spitfire.

color, exposure and focus are all well done, so there's nothing from a technical perspective to nitpick, imho. the ominous clouds add to the sense of foreboding and doom that one would expect with a machine of war, and adds a great touch.

my only desire is to see this perhaps in a b+w, but that's just for comparison. this images stands tall on it's own.
